About Dr. Paul

Chikku Paul, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician caring for Calvary Medical Clinic’s youngest patients at both locations in Livingston and Cleveland, Texas.

Dr. Paul received his medical education at the Government Medical College in Thiruvananthapuram, India. He completed an internship at the Medical College Trivandrum in Kerala, India, covering surgery medicine, OB/GYN, and pediatrics before also earning licensure in medicine and surgery. 

After moving to New York, Dr. Paul completed a pediatrician residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, earned medicine and surgery licensure in New York, and then started his professional experience in pediatrics in Watertown, New York.

In addition to earning Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), United States Medical Licensing Exam Step 1, 2, and 3, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications, Dr. Paul completed PALS courses designed for health care providers giving emergency response, emergency medicine, and intensive care to infants and children. 

Dr. Paul is a member of multiple medical associations including the American Association of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, and the Medical Society of the State of New York.

Dr. Paul is multilingual, speaking fluent English, Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam, and medical Spanish.
